My RamblingsSPOILER ALERT (TIP): Use old sock (or new, whatever), put chems in sock, attach to chlorine floater and fuggedaboutit. Remove next day.Like everyone, I’m seeking a better/easier way to keep my water clean and clear; thus, allowing me to enjoy more time in it than walking around it working. So, Let’s see what this chem does.To the Point or TL;DRWorks, but not instantly. Has 19% “Other Ingredients”. Instructions are One 7oz Scoop/6,500gal/Month. Approximately 3 Scoops for 20,000 gal pool = 14 treatments per 6lb bucket. Watch for staining, plus nose/eye irritation.Product Features/Details (How it's Made, What's In It)Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate 50.5%, Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate 30.5%, Other Ingredients 19.0%. Product Wt. 6.0 lbs / 2.72 kg. One Scoop of product Wt. 6.7 oz / 190 g. For a 20,000 gallon pool, this equates to approximately 14 Treatments, which according to instructions (1 Treatment/Month) would equal 14 Months worth. The Good StuffIt works, but this isn’t some throw it in and watch your murky water suddenly turn clear. It takes a few days for it to circulate and kill all that bad stuff. Remember to keep brushing those sides and running that pump. The Tip StuffI read about this and have used it ever since. I bought a pair of tube socks from the dollar store and when I need to add some chems that are slow to dissolve and I don’t want to load up my filter pressure, I just fill the sock, Attach it to my chlorine floater, and retrieve it the next day. Usually everything is gone by then, if not, just turn inside out in your skimmer. The Meh StuffNot sure if I’m sold on regularly putting something into my pool water that I may or may not need. I prefer keeping a balanced pool and then when I see it changing to quickly address it. Plus, the Zinc may cause eye/nose irritation, those first few days after treatment. Don’t know, just not 100% sure. The Bad StuffWhat? 19% Other Ingredients. Don’t know about you, but I like to know what is in the pool where my family, pets, and friends swim. Plus, how am I to balance if I don’t know.Who May Use/Like ItThose dealing with a regular algae problem or maybe don’t watch their chems/balance that closely.Me Final ThoughtsI smell a whole lot of “if” coming off this plan. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope it helps! All the best, Just BenjaminReviewed: Brand: Eeziblue Cost: $79.95 at time of review.Monthly Algaecide for Swimming Pool, Pool Algaecide for Inground Pool & Above Ground Pool - Effective Monthly Treatment to Prevent Algae Growth - 6 lbs Bucket
