Eeziblue Monthly Algaecide is a monthly pool additive that uses a proprietary Zn-Cu Synergy® formula, combining copper and zinc to effectively eliminate and prevent algae growth. Use it as a monthly treatment or a quick fix for green pools.
Designed for chlorine or saltwater pools, it works as an algaecide, bactericide, phosphate remover and water clarifier, and can help reduce chlorine usage by up to 75%. Eeziblue also makes pool water more resilient to extreme weather changes and helps reduce the number of mid-cycle maintenance visits - the perfect pool multitool.
For swimming pools only.
Directions for use
Maintain these pool parameters:
- Chlorine: 0.5 - 1.0 ppm
- pH: 7.2 - 7.8
- Alkalinity: 80 - 120 ppm
- Cyanuric acid: below 50 ppm
Monthly application:
- Backwash the pool for up to 2 minutes then rinse for 20 seconds, or clean filters before application.
- With the pump running and the multiport set to the filter position, pour the contents directly into the pool skimmer.
- Run the pool pump continuously for 30 minutes after application, then return the pump to its normal cycle.
- Repeat application monthly.
Ensure your copper levels are at or below 0.2 ppm before application. If copper is higher, pause application until it drops (common in low-use pools or winter months).
Saltwater pools: normal application applies, but be prepared to lower the output to keep free chlorine between 0.5 and 1.0 ppm.
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Yes. Eeziblue works with both chlorine and saltwater systems. On saltwater, be ready to lower your generator output to keep free chlorine between 0.5 and 1.0 ppm.
My pool is already green. Will this fix it?
Yes - Monthly Algaecide can be used as a quick fix for a green pool as well as ongoing prevention. For a badly neglected pool, our Green Reaper® Green To Blue Kit clears it fastest, then switch to monthly treatment to keep it clear.
Do I need to test anything?
Keep your basics in range (chlorine 0.5-1.0 ppm, pH 7.2-7.8, alkalinity 80-120 ppm) and copper at or below 0.2 ppm before applying. Eeziblue handles the algae.
